The Ridetech 3/5 drop lowering suspension system for 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD trucks includes everything you need to get your trucks stance looking good. We focus on the areas of the OE suspension that need improvement. In the case of 99-06 GM trucks that means keeping the factory control arms and leaf springs. Getting down to business, we start with heavy-duty C-Notches that are unlike anything else on the market. The C-Notches are significantly longer than other design and feature reinforcements in multiple planes. They provide ample axle clearance while maintaining frame strength, both torsionally and longitudinally — even when carrying a load. Beyond a sturdy foundation, the next most important part of this lowering system is, by far, the custom valve rebound adjustable mono tube shock absorbers. Ridetech shocks feature superior monotube damping control inside of an impact forged housing. Monotube shocks are more responsive than twin-tube shocks and provide far better body control. Built-in shock rebound adjustment lets you fine-tune the valving to suit your personal driving style. Just a quick turn of the adjuster and you can dynamically change how your truck responds. Ridetech includes rear shock extender brackets that maintain proper shock angle. It really is remarkable how well these trucks go down the road with the right set of shock absorbers. To get the front of the truck down, the Ridetech system includes custom-matched coil springs in conjunction and forged “Drop” spindles. The springs work in conjunction with the rebound adjustable monotube shocks to add significant ride and handling improvements. The spindles lower the vehicle while maintaining suspension geometry and alignment. Brand new grade 8 hardware and heavy-duty, powder-coated brackets round out the system. Ridetech did not skimp or cut any corners.
General Warranty
Ridetech offers a full 1 year, non-transferable warranty from the date of purchase on all products. In the event that a product is out of the warranty time period, we will evaluate and respond to the customer’s concerns on a case-by-case basis.
Shock Absorber Warranty
Ridetech shock absorbers now have a 1,000,001-mile warranty! We are so confident of the performance and durability of our new shock absorbers, Ridetech offers a 1,000,001-mile lifetime warranty on all Ridetech shocks purchased after Jan. 1 2013.
- Obvious external damage will not be warranted [accident, component abrasion, etc.]
- You will need to ship your worn-out shocks directly to Ridetech for evaluation and repair. You pay for your shipping, and Ridetech will pay for return shipping.
- Ridetech is not responsible for any removal or installation charges. Ridetech is not responsible for any other repairs or damage that might happen to your car.
Return Policy
Return Policy Returns of new (re-sellable) products within 30 days of receipt of the product are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Returns of new (re-sellable) products after 30 days of receipt of the product are subject to a 20% restocking fee. All returns must be accompanied by the original purchase order or invoice number. All returns require notification of the return in the form of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#) prior to shipment. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. No returns on electrical components are accepted after 30 days. Returns of discontinued or obsolete products will not be accepted. Credit for returns will be issued within 30 days of arrival at Ridetech. Ridetech reserves the right to deny credit for any items damaged by the customer.
