2014-2015 Chevy/GMC 1500 4wd Control arm differences explained.

The new 2014-2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4wd models have now been coming facotry with two types of control arms. This is extremely important to know what type you vehicle has when choosing a McGaughys Lift Kit or Lowering kit for these trucks! 

You will see in the attached image the difference in the two make sure you double check your truck to ensure you order the correct McGaughys liftkit or McGaughys lowering kit the first time! 

Aluminum control arm trucks utilize a larger balljoint diameter over their steel counter parts. With this larger ball joint McGaughys machines the lift spindle to work correctly with the larger ball joints but the steel spindles are not able to be used on the aluminum arms.
