BDS792FPE will bDS is a game changer in performance of your 2020-2023 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD truck with a 6.5-inch suspension lift kit with FOX 2.5 Coil-Over conversion. Designed to improve stance performance and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 38" tires. These kits feature proprietary FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks designed specifically to bolt-on performance for increased travel and the ability to soak up the roughest terrain along with smooth on-road comfort. In addition to replacing the factory torsion bars the upper and lower control arms are upgraded to improve strength travel and accommodate the new coilovers. The new upper control arms are fabricated from large 1.5" OD x .120-wall tubing fully TIG welded for the highest quality strength and durability. To compliment the uppers the new lower control arms are built from high strength steel fully boxed with internally gusseted. This kit takes advantage of BDS's tried and true high-clearance design for improved ground clearance strength and offroad protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for great on-road handling characteristics. Up front the kit utilizes FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks heavy duty tubular upper control arms fully boxed and gusseted lower control arms high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers and a multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates built for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These combined with the provided sway bar links bump stop extensions stainless steel brake lines CV spacers supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it. In the rear BDS offers replacement lift blocks to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also for the rear is a u-bolt flip kit for max clearance and precision tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks for ultimate off road performance.

FOX Performance Elite
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks offer next level performance for on-road comfort and off-road comfort capability. Tuned and ready to install right out of the box these bolt-on 2.5-inch diameter shocks are built for abuse and packed with race-proven technology. They include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to keep your shocks running cool so you can push the limits in the rough terrain. The DSC adjuster adds remarkable versatility and precise tuning with a simple twist of either two adjuster knobs offering 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels with a black anodized aluminum reservoir to increase cooling efficiency.

HD Control Arms
Built for strength performance and increased travel these control arms are ready to bolt-in. The upper arms use 1.5" OD x .120-wall tubular construction with an indexed ball joint cup to correct the ball joint positioning allowing additional down travel and camber adjustment. The new lower control arms are built from high strength steel fully boxed with internally gusseted. At the frame mounting ends are durometer-specific rubber bushings for maintenance-free operation while at the other end a quality greaseable ball joints for smooth quiet operation and superior durability. Arms are finished in a durable black powder coat with a billet aluminum dust cap ready for installation right out of the box.

  • Models with two-piece rear drive shafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit. (BDS121612)
  • Requires frame bracket modification.
  • Disassembly/assembly of the factory torsion bar system requires the use of a special unloading tool. The GM specified tool # is CH48809.
  • Compatible with diesel models ONLY. Works with standard or AT4 diesel models.
  • Some minor trim will be required with certain wheel/tire combination. This is normal with most aftermarket tire/wheel fitment on Chevy/GM trucks. Trimming will normally include the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or lower corner of front bumper valance. As a rule of thumb deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower tires will reduce/eliminate trimming required. Further trimming tips are included at the end of this instruction sheet.
  • Factory 17-18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 37x12.50 tire.
  • In some cases vehicles used in 4WD on the highway regularly could potentially experience a minor front driveline vibration. If this occurs we recommend replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft.
  • Coilover coil has a large amount of preload a coil spring compressor must be used to remove the coil from the coilover. Failure to use a coil spring compressor may result in death or injury.
  • Do not increase coilover preload.
  • For DRW models use the w/ overload rear lift option.
  • Wearable Parts - Limited Lifetime Warranty BDS NX2 Series Shocks and BDS/Fox Performance Series Shocks: Shock oil seals are not covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty because they are subject to wear over time and use. At BDS's discretion, leaking shock seals less than 2 years from date of purchase, free from contamination, damage, or abnormal seal wear due to misuse can be considered for repair or replacement under warranty. A shock absorber is a wear item and over time will experience diminished damping resistance due to normal component wear. This is not a defect in material or workmanship and is therefore not warrantable. Defects in material and workmanship do not include such things as dented cylinders or bent rods caused by obvious side impact, rust or corrosion. Fox Proprietary Shocks and Coil Overs: Fox Proprietary parts are covered by their warranty and are not included in the BDS Warranty. BDS may offer to assist with the warranty of defective product, at our discretion. Other warranty concerns should be handled through the Fox Service program. Leaking shock seals less than 1 year from date of purchase, free from contamination, damage, or abnormal seal wear due to misuse can be considered for Warranty. However, Ball Joints and Tie Rod ends less than 3 years from the date of purchase, that have been properly greased, maintained, and do not show signs of abnormal use can be considered for warranty. BDS Suspension's obligation under all warranties is limited to the repair or replacement, at BDS's option, of the defective material. BDS will cover the cost of ground shipping on warranty items, and a return shipping label if we require the warranty part to be returned to us. Any cost of removal, installation or reinstallation, expedited freight charges, incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded from these warranties.
