BDS195H will engineered to improve stance performance and capability the BDS 6-inch lift kit for the 1992-1998 Chevy and GMC Suburban Tahoe and Yukon 6 Lug SUVs is a must have upgrade. For maximum driveability BDS designed this kit around heavy duty upper control arms and steering knuckles that offers zero track width change.This kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 35" tires. This kit takes advantage of BDS's tried and true high-clearance design for improved ground clearance strength and offroad protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for great on-road handling characteristics. Up front the kit utilizes torsion bar drop brackets heavy duty upper control arms high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers along with a multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates built for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These combined with the provided sway bar drops bump stop extensions brake line brackets CV spacers supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it. In the rear BDS offers both replacement lift block / add-a-leaf combo and full Glide-Ride leaf spring options to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also for the rear are new u-bolts and precision tuned NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.

High Clearance Crossmembers
BDS maximizes ground clearance with their heavy duty 1/4-inch thick laser cut perfect fit crossmembers. Paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to create a rigid subframe while adding extra protection.

Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles
BDS corrects steering geometry at the new taller ride height using a pair of high-strength CNC machined ductile cast iron steering knuckle design to work with factory tie rod ends to maintain steering angles for proper function and ESC compatibility.

Notes-

  • Requires exhaust modification.
  • Special tool (Kent Moore Tools Part #J-36202-A) required to unload/load torsion bars.Not available through BDS.
  • Requires frame bracket modification and differential mount modification.
  • All models equipped with auto-trac may require a new front driveshaft. The auto-trac New Process 246 transfer case can be identified by the silver dollar sized plaque on the rear of the transfer case that reads "NP246". The dash mounted display will display the Auto 4WD symbol. NP243 is not auto-trac.
  • Aftermarket wheels required. (See tire and wheel info in the instructions)
  • System will not work on some 88-95 vehicles equipped with spindle mounted front ABS sensor.
  • Four door models require 121002 Torsion Bar Crossmember Kit.
Wearable Parts - Limited Lifetime Warranty BDS NX2 Series Shocks and BDS/Fox Performance Series Shocks: Shock oil seals are not covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty because they are subject to wear over time and use. At BDS's discretion, leaking shock seals less than 2 years from date of purchase, free from contamination, damage, or abnormal seal wear due to misuse can be considered for repair or replacement under warranty. A shock absorber is a wear item and over time will experience diminished damping resistance due to normal component wear. This is not a defect in material or workmanship and is therefore not warrantable. Defects in material and workmanship do not include such things as dented cylinders or bent rods caused by obvious side impact, rust or corrosion. Fox Proprietary Shocks and Coil Overs: Fox Proprietary parts are covered by their warranty and are not included in the BDS Warranty. BDS may offer to assist with the warranty of defective product, at our discretion. Other warranty concerns should be handled through the Fox Service program. Leaking shock seals less than 1 year from date of purchase, free from contamination, damage, or abnormal seal wear due to misuse can be considered for Warranty. However, Ball Joints and Tie Rod ends less than 3 years from the date of purchase, that have been properly greased, maintained, and do not show signs of abnormal use can be considered for warranty. BDS Suspension's obligation under all warranties is limited to the repair or replacement, at BDS's option, of the defective material. BDS will cover the cost of ground shipping on warranty items, and a return shipping label if we require the warranty part to be returned to us. Any cost of removal, installation or reinstallation, expedited freight charges, incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded from these warranties. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
