Built to outperform BDS Suspension engineered a 8-inch lift kit with long arm conversion for your 2008 Dodge RAM 2500 and 3500 diesel powered truck that maximizes performance on and off road. Designed to improve stance performance and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 38" tires. BDS built the long lower control arms to reduce caster change through wheel travel which creates a more controlled feeling in the steering wheel. This long arm long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms which adds to the stability of the suspension system. Up front the lift kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs all four control arms plus mounting bracket forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction bump stops sway bar links and precision tuned NX2 or FOX 2.0 nitrogen charged shocks. In the rear this kit utilizes heavy duty cast steel blocks longer u-bolts and a matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance shocks. Pro-Ride Coil Springs A pair of full-length diesel-specific progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel our direct OE replacement coil springs are engineered with properly sized wire diameter. This results in maximum reliability without premature coil bind. Steering Correction To optimize steering geometry once lifted a forged drop pitman arm is used to minimize the steering angle and pair it with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep them in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Notes-

Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4" axle models with dual overloads will require UBT4068.
Rear lift options will not fit dually applications.
If driveline vibration occurs order either transfer case drop. NOTE: 122606 transfer case drop kit will only replace the OE bracket #52121938AA
Additional front driveline modification may be required.
Exhaust modification will be required for dual rear shock kit 122009.
2500 Gas models will require modification to the front exhaust crossover pipe on driver side for proper clearance when a transfer case indexing ring kit is installed
If your Truck has had the steering gear box changed and the sector shaft diameter measures ~1-1/2"-1-5/8" you will need to add part # BDS082404 to your kit.

Wearable Parts - Limited Lifetime Warranty BDS NX2 Series Shocks and BDS/Fox Performance Series Shocks: Shock oil seals are not covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty because they are subject to wear over time and use. At BDS's discretion, leaking shock seals less than 2 years from date of purchase, free from contamination, damage, or abnormal seal wear due to misuse can be considered for repair or replacement under warranty. A shock absorber is a wear item and over time will experience diminished damping resistance due to normal component wear. This is not a defect in material or workmanship and is therefore not warrantable. Defects in material and workmanship do not include such things as dented cylinders or bent rods caused by obvious side impact, rust or corrosion. Fox Proprietary Shocks and Coil Overs: Fox Proprietary parts are covered by their warranty and are not included in the BDS Warranty. BDS may offer to assist with the warranty of defective product, at our discretion. Other warranty concerns should be handled through the Fox Service program. Leaking shock seals less than 1 year from date of purchase, free from contamination, damage, or abnormal seal wear due to misuse can be considered for Warranty. However, Ball Joints and Tie Rod ends less than 3 years from the date of purchase, that have been properly greased, maintained, and do not show signs of abnormal use can be considered for warranty. BDS Suspension's obligation under all warranties is limited to the repair or replacement, at BDS's option, of the defective material. BDS will cover the cost of ground shipping on warranty items, and a return shipping label if we require the warranty part to be returned to us. Any cost of removal, installation or reinstallation, expedited freight charges, incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded from these warranties. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
