BDS1780FS
BDS1780FS will built to outperform BDS Suspension engineered a 5.5-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion for your 2013-2018 RAM 3500 gas powered truck that will surely impress. Designed to improve stance performance and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 37" tires. Up front the lift kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs 4-Link control arms with conversion mounts forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction bump stops brake line brackets and precision tuned NX2 or FOX 2.0 nitrogen charged shocks. In the rear this kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block longer u-bolts and a matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance shocks.
4-Link Conversion
Convert the factory stamped steel radius arms over to the BDS 4-link to optimize suspension geometry for better handling characteristics while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade utilizes high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning while limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.
Pro-Ride Coil Springs
A pair of full-length gas-specific progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth predictable ride across various terrains.
Steering Correction
To optimize steering geometry once lifted a forged drop pitman arm is used to minimize the steering angle and pair it with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep them in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.Tapered and roll-pointed leafs add flexibility and provide an even deflection rate Increased wheel travel and a softer ride from tapering allow smoother transition between leafs as compression takes place Higher articulation from bolt-style leaf alignment clamps prevents leafs from fanning out allowing leafs to twist and flex Multi-leaf progressive design for smooth ride Anti-friction pads provide a smooth and quiet ride Front Lift Height: 5_5 IN Front Lift Method: Coil Springs Installation Difficulty: difficult Installation Time: 7-9 Hrs Installation Tools: bit unibit Step Drill Bit-drill-puller pitmanArm-welder Rear Lift Height: 4 IN Rear Lift Method: Block Rear Lift Option: 4 Inch Block Kit Shocks Included: Yes 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft. The carrier bearing drop is necessary for models equipped with two-piece rear drive shaft. Some vehicles may require a rear driveshaft spacer kit 122007 to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement DRW models fit inner wheel clearance to the upper u-bolt plate on 5.5-6" kits
